Depending on the quantity, you can expect the following timeframes for delivery: existing items: 30 days via air-freight and 60 days via sea-freight; custom projects (including sampling & tooling): 90 days via sea. • Artwork

We can handle the artwork for you - just send us the files by email. Our graphic artist can review your artwork and lay it out for you for your approval.

  • What if I want a specific colour match imprinted?

Many of our decoration methods allow us to closely match the imprint colour to a specific requirement. Customers who require specific colour matching should provide us with PMS (Pantone Matching System ®) colour number/s where applicable. If your logo is to be embroidered, we will select a thread that most closely matches your PMS colour.

  • What graphic file type should I send?

Acceptable Files in either Mac or PC Formats

Art files can be created in Adobe Illustrator CS4 or earlier versions. Files from other programs may be acceptable if they can be saved as an EPS. All files must be saved as EPS and all text converted to outline. EPS format files provide superior reproduction quality allowing images to be resized with no loss of detail.

  • Artwork with Text

We recommend that all text be converted to outlines when possible. If not, all fonts, font suitcases, printer fonts and screen fonts must be included with your art. Please note that the smallest text size that can be imprinted is typically around 6-8 pt. with some exceptions, for embroidery letter should be at least 5 mm height. It is often necessary to modify or drop text entirely for small imprint areas.

  • Multiple Colour Artwork

Send only original, native vector, EPS or CDR files where possible. Bitmaps & jpeg files created in Photoshop or similar programs can be used for some four colour printing and embroidery applications that use photos and illustrations. We recommended around 300 dpi with artwork set to size. These files will remain as bitmaps and cannot be edited easily. If your item is to be embroidered we can use a low quality graphic. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact our art department and we will assist you further.

  • Where do I send my art ?

Please send your artwork directly to your rep. If you do not have a rep, please email: artwork@adherepromotions.com.

  • DECORATION METHODS - DEFINITIONS

    Debossing
The depression of an image into a material's surface so causing the image to sit below the product surface is a deboss.

    Embossing
We impress an image in relief to achieve a raised surface

    Hot Stamping
Your design or logo is set on a metal relief die or plate and it is heated and pressed onto the surface of the promotional item to achieve a recessed branding finish.

    EtchingLaser or Foil Stamping
Using this system of branding a metallic or colored foil full colour digital print can be applied to leather, vinyl or paper promotional product surfaces. This system is expensive but allows tones of colour and complex logos to be reproduced exactly.

    Die-casting
A 3 dimensional die is cut from a block of steel molten metal and is injected into the die mold cavity. This system of manufacture is ideal for high-end custom molded corporate gift ideas.

    Die-striking
Production of coins, medallions and stamped promotional badges and other flat metal promotional products is achieved by striking a blank metal sheet with a hammer or stamp. The pattern on the die is transferred to the meal surface.

    Pad Printing
A soft pad surface is covered with an appropriate fast drying and tough ink. The plate is wiped clean by a squeegy mechanism, leaving ink behind only on the recessed areas of the pads. A silicone pad is then pressed against the pad printing plate, drawing the ink out of the pad recess and pressing it directly onto the promotional product.

    4-Color Processing
Four colour process printing is a printing process where you begin with finished full color artwork and separate out the artwork into the CMYK format - Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. The separate films are created and printed with special process inks and the print looks like the original artwork.

    Sublimation Printing
Involves a dye transfer system where the image is permanently embedded into the texture of the promotional material surface. Primarily these products are used for promotional mouse pads, mugs, T-shirts and caps.

    Decal Printing
Artwork is produced on a vinyl decal and applied to the promotional products with a heat transfer process.

    Offset Printing
Like traditional printing systems used to print high volume paper outputs this system of printing promotional products involves the transfer of ink from a metal printing plate to a rubber-covered cylinder and is generally used on more complex artwork of high volume production runs of branded promotional products.
